The article aims to highlight the presence of Geotechnologies, such as Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing techniques, in the interpretation and planning of actions aimed at Rescue Archaeology, through a bibliographic review and a case study. To this end, we will present the Alto Porã Archaeological Site, Pedregulho - SP, its attributes and how Geotechnologies helped in its analysis, optimizing, facilitating and speeding up the archaeological rescue processes. We will also highlight how these tools are essential for the systematization of data and for the production of maps that reflect the occupation and use of space by indigenous populations in the North of the State of São Paulo, in past times.
