This article presents a proposal for a multicenter, on-site evaluation study aimed at analyzing the Brazilian Army’s Education and Culture System, with emphasis on the Educational Establishments subordinated to the Department of Education and Culture of the Army. Based on the observation that existing evaluations are predominantly local and fragmented, a methodological model of institutional evaluation is outlined, one that integrates contemporary frameworks of educational evaluation, national and international quality standards, and the specific regulatory features of the military context. The Pedagogical Updating Internship is adopted as the core axis of data collection, given its mandatory, transversal and normatively standardized nature within the Army Education and Culture Brazilian System. The proposed mixed-methods design combines standardized instruments, on-site observations and semi-structured interviews, articulated with the work of multidisciplinary evaluation teams. The institutionalization of the Evaluation Project of the Army Education and Culture System – PROAVAL-SECEx is advocated, with expected outcomes that include the strengthening of educational governance, the consolidation of an evaluative culture, and the enhancement of pedagogical coherence among the different Educational Establishments.
