Abstract

The study of neuroscience and its relationship with early childhood development has proven fundamental to understanding the complex process of growth and learning in children during their first years of life. The overall objective of this study was to explore the connections between these two areas of knowledge, which are crucial for promoting healthy and promising development. This understanding has led to early interventions aimed at optimizing child development and preventing potential challenges. However, the connections between neuroscience and early childhood development also raise ethical and practical questions, especially in the context of early childhood education and care. It is crucial to translate neuroscientific discoveries into policies and practices that benefit children by fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Exploring the connections between neuroscience and early childhood development provides a solid foundation for improving the quality of education and care provided to children, enhancing their growth and preparing them for a healthy and productive future.
