Abstract

Positive Discipline, as an innovative educational method that avoids the use of punishment or reward, has attracted the attention of educators. This research analyzes positive discipline for teachers and its impact in the classroom. The research analyzed scientific publications published between 2015 and 2021 on the following websites: BVS, Scielo, Capes Journals, Wiley, PubMed, and Science Direct. The objective of this study is to identify the progress of scientific production in the academic environment through bibliometrics. This is a compilation of research from the bibliometric study, using structured descriptors in DeCS and MeSH. Data collection took place in June 2021. Scientific articles related to the topic were used as inclusion criteria, and scientific articles that did not address the topic of positive discipline were used as exclusion criteria. Therefore, it is concluded that Positive Discipline is an essential and innovative method for educating children, whether in the school or family environment.
