Abstract

The advancement of digital technologies has profoundly transformed the way adolescents communicate, interact socially, and access information. Social networks have come to occupy a central space in the daily lives of this population, providing opportunities for interaction, entertainment, and identity construction. However, the excessive use of these platforms has sparked growing concern among researchers and health professionals due to the potential negative impacts on the mental health of young people (KELES; McCRAE; GREALISH, 2020).
