SPECIFIC CONSIDERATIONS IN APPLYING INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN IN EDUCATION

The general objective of this work initially consists of understanding the concept of “instructional design”, as well as reflecting on the possible advantages and disadvantages that may derive from this important area of activity within education. The importance of the role of the professional named as “instructional designer” is observed, as he plays the role of a natural leader in this educational process, through strategic architectural functions and through his own personal skills, using convincing arguments with partners, to that there is acceptance of the proposals and thus success both in the initial design of the pedagogical model to be adopted, as well as in the final delivery and subsequent execution of the educational solution. For this, using bibliographical research, it was concluded, based on two advantages and two perceived disadvantages, that it is necessary for interested parties to always follow the educational cycles arising from Instructional Design and its peculiarities, since there may be other variables that which could impact both positively and negatively on results.
