The transformations that have taken place in the world of work in recent decades, driven by the advance of digital technologies and the consolidation of platforms, have led to profound reconfigurations in contemporary labor relations. The so-called "uberization" of work, an expression that synthesizes the algorithmic mediation of productive activities and the growing lack of corporate responsibility, has amplified processes of structural precariousness. This article aims to sociologically analyze the effects of digital platforms on working conditions and the forms of collective organization of workers in Brazil. The research adopts a qualitative approach, based on a bibliographical review and documentary analysis, drawing on leading authors in the sociology of work and up-to-date studies on platform capitalism. The study shows that platforms operate under an organizational model that fragments rights, intensifies informality and makes it difficult to build stable professional relationships. At the same time, alternative forms of resistance and mobilization have emerged, such as autonomous collectives, coordinated strikes and public denunciations that challenge the rhetoric of autonomy promoted by technology companies. The phenomenon of uberization is not just a technical change, but a political and economic project that requires new forms of regulation and confrontation.
